Product Description

CHOGrow®CD1, CHOGrow®CD2, CHOGrow®CD3, CHOGrow®CD4, CHOGrow®CD6 serum-free medium is an animal origin-free, chemically defined medium without the need of adding serum. CHOGrow®CD5 serum-free medium is a medium with vegetable hydrolysate added. This product is widely used for high density suspension cultivation of CHO cells and the production of recombinant proteins, vaccines as well as monoclonal antibodies. Batch and continuous perfusion are both acceptable for culturing.
BasalMedia provides 6 types of CHOGrow®CD serum-free media with differences in formulations to accommodate the nuances in cell lines and culture conditions. Please contact Basal Media to choose the most appropriate medium.
For research customers who are using standard CHO cell lines and culture conditions for adherent cultivation, CHOGrow®CD5 serum-free medium (Catalog No. H150KJ) is recommended with the use of cell adherent supplement (Catalog No. S916J0).
The product is prepared using water-for-injection.
