Product Description

This product is an Iodixanol aqueous solution. Iodixanol has a molecular weight of 1550 Da and is a non-ionic compound with low cell toxicity. Since Iodixanol has highly hydrophilic side chains, the solubility can reach up to 80% (w/v) which equals to 1.426 g/mL in density. It can also be dissolved in formamide, dimethylformamide and ethanol with a solubility of 50% (w/v). Dehydrated medium could reduce the loss of soluble component in biological particles including mitochondria and cell nuclei. This product is suitable for the isolation of lymphocytes from human antithrombin as it has the advantages of bacteria and virus-free and low heat source. Lymphocytes isolated under bacteria-free condition could be used for cell culturing.  
The product is prepared using water-for-injection. 
This product is only used for scientific research and production, tissue and cell culture in vitro. It is prohibited for clinical use.
