Product Description
This animal origin-free product is prepared using high purity and high specific activity recombinant trypsin from the expression of cloning E Coli as the ingredient. The amino acid sequence is the same as trypsin from porcine pancreas which could specifically degrade carboxy-terminal peptide bonds from Lys and Arg. All ingredients used during the production are animal origin-free which allows this product to have extremely low risk of being contaminated by foreign viruses with high biological safeness. This product can completely replace porcine trypsin or bovine trypsin applied in all fields of bioengineering, especially in the production of recombinant protein and the digestion and harvest of mammalian cells. Trypsin inhibitor is not needed at the same time to neutralize the trace enzyme activity left in the medium after cell digestion.
The main purposes are of the following:
1. Vaccine production for virus-infected mammalian cells.
2. Culturing of therapeutic and primary cells.
3. Culturing of stem cells.
4. Production of recombinant protein.
Compared to traditional trypsin, it has the following advantages:
1. It can be used in serum-free and with serum culturing media of various types of cells.
2. Room Temperature Stable. It can remain stable for a long period of time at room temperature or 2–8°C after thawing, making storage and handling easy and convenient.
3. Gentle on cells. Reduces cellular damage.
4. Additional trypsin inhibitor is not needed for neutralization after cell passaging. Digestion can be terminated after the dilution using cell culturing solution.
5. The morphology and proliferation ability of cells after digestion are restored well. Single cell suspension with uniform morphology could be obtained.
The product is prepared using water-for-injection.
